A lot of airsofters are selling their P90s due to the "misfeeding" problem that plagues these AEGs. Fortunately for us, the low resale price has made them very accessible. A few hours modifiying the magazines and fine tuning the AEG usualy cures these misfeeds and turns the P90 into a very effective skirmish weapon.
The barrel is short for easy manuevering but still long enough to be able to get decent FPS without needing very heavy springs or expensive gears and batts.

i just had this gun a couple of days now. what happens is half pa lang yung mag nag unwind na kaagad but i dont see any stuck bb's. so inorder i could empty 1 hicap mag i have to wind it twice hassle lang kasi you have to remove it. misfeeding problem din ba ito?

Don't fret so much on the mag misfeeding of the P90 - it's history. First, other mags suffer from misfeeding also; second and more importantly, sir stansuarez knows the solution already to correct the misfeeding.
Actually, I'd consider the new users of the P90 lucky. When it came out, there was no solution yet to the mag misfeeds and caused me to buy "a not cheap and a bit uncomfortable" box mag. My bigger advantage only I enjoyed was being able to use the same hicap mags of the M4/M16 that I had.
I've had my TR for 2 years now and it's due for replacement of old parts and upgrade. The comment of my gunsmith and another is that it's one of the aeg's that can be tinkered with easily. I am not an aeg techie (and my right hand, due to an accident, is not so friendly that I have to hold a screwdriver with two hands) but the first aeg I opened was the P90 where instead of using an inner barrel cleaning rod, I dared to take out the barrel and remove the jammed bb.

Sir D7K, Thanks for responding to our invitation. We look to hear from you a lot of advise from you about our P90.
Johnmkt, I think a also experienced what you had about the unwinding of the mags even if it is still half-filled. Am not sure really what the cause is but for the spring to unwind, it means that the gear that feeds the bbs was not able to catch the bbs anymore. It's still a question for me why this happens...or another problem may be is that you may have not wound the spring all the way...during my first use, am having second thought to fully wind it...kasi baka bumigay...but you'd know that you've wound the spring fully if you hear a "tick" sound different from when you start winding.
Am still to investigate this more....also bro, check out your mag...my first mag that came in with my RD already had the "fix" of the bb misfeed. I also got a new mag where there is a new mechanism attached by TM for a final fix. I will get pictures of these so it would be easier for all of us to understand. I would be able to do this next week.
Thanks, Sarge

The undesired unwinding happens also in other mags, TM or TOP brands (haven't tried other brands eh). 'Haven't experienced it though in wmags or cmag.
I recall a certain topic on the 'unwinding' mag. 'Will look it up and post it here.

Welcome new users, guests and visiotrs... thanks for joining us or dropping by. remember, a Forum is only as good as it's users... please feel free to contribute and participate in the discusion in order to enrich our P90 experience.
As the Forum grows, I can easily add sub-boards to our area to keep things organized. But in the meantime, lets' stick to ONE area so that it will be easier to locate the messages and threads. Good day to all...
