Guarder Enhanced Recoil & Hammer Spring for Marui Hi-Capa 5.1 ( 150% ) -- US$9.60
www.wgcshop.com/pcart/shopper.php?itm=GD-PT-CAPA02_cat_Guarder%20Parts%20for%20Pistol
A very simple upgrade to any GBB. Stiffer springs bye 150% from the orignal. One goes under the barrel(recoil spring) and the other goes in the main spring housing(back strap of grip- below the beaver tail safety).
Installation of the recoil spring is very simple- just field strip your pistol by: 1. Retract the slide until the disasembly notch on the slide matches the rear tip of the slide stop. 2. Push the slide stop out and remove the slide from the frame. 3. Compress the spring on the spring guide(it's a bit hard) and then remove the entire spring guide assy from the slide(carefuly) 4. Swap the springs and re-assemble in reverse order.
Installation of the hammer spring will need a few tools- particularly a small pin punch and a small rubber mallet.
1. Remove the mainspring housing from the back of the pistol by puncing out the locking pin you find in the rear lower part of the grip.
2. The mainspring housing slides DOWN but be sure that the sear spring(the leaf type spring under the beaver tail) doesn't jump out of it's position or fall off so that you won't have a hard time during re-assmbly. This is very cricitcal as returing the leaf spring to it's proper place mans the difference between a semi auto hicapa and a full auto hicapa. You may TAPE the beavertail in plae before disassmbly to make things simpler.
3. You'll see another pin in the mainspring housing that keeps the mainspring CAP in place. Under that cap is the mainspring itself.
4. Push the cap down and remove the locking pin.
5. Slowly release the tension on the mainspring- and remove...
6. Replace with the new spring and assemble in reverse order.
Result: The jarring recoil of the hicapa is reduced significantly. This might not be a good thing for some since they''ve come to like the snappy recoil of the TM hicapa (even on R134a). However, this is a safety measure to reduce wear and tear on the ABS slide and a stepping stone to more ugprades(like the metal slide) to enable safe operation on R22 or Propane!.
Bottom line: Recommended!!! Even if you don't do any other upgrades on your GBB or only plan to use R134a, this will extend the life of your GBB.

Guarder Enhanced Loading Muzzle for MARUI HI-CAPA 5.1 -- US$24.00
www.wgcshop.com/pcart/shopper.php?itm=GD-PT-CAPA13_cat_Guarder%20Parts%20for%20Pistol
Uh... forgive me if I don't do a step by step installation guide on this one. It's a bit difficult to do without pictures... or a video.... Alas, I even lost my nozzle return spring during this step. Luckily it's easily replaced by the spring from a BIC disposable lighter(the one under the "stone").
Basicaly, it's a DURABILITY upgrade to be able to handle extra pressure.
It's the cylinder head, nozzle and cylinder of an AEG rolled into one assembly.. it doesn't function the same way though... there's a valve inside that handles the routing of gas to the BB(for propulsion) and to the piston head(for blow back action).
Result: None visible... ask me again later when i start using Green Gas, Duster or even PRopane...
Level of difficulty- ... hair pulling!!!

Shooters Design Metal Piston Head Set for Marui Hi-Capa Series-- US$18.00
www.wgcshop.com/pcart/shopper.php?itm=SD-PT-S750_cat_Shooters%20Design%20Parts
This goes INSIDE the loading muzzle- this is the other END of the assembly. The stock TM assembly is made of plastic and has a CUP TYPE rubber seal. It's fine and dandy until ... it gets busted.
True, the OEM part is very very durable and very effective(doesn't get dislodged as easily as the o-ring type)- specialy if you stick to the recommended R134a gas on the TM HIcapa.
Sidebar- the first batches of TM HiCapas came with o-ring type piston heads but they kept on being disloged during the recoil cycle. TM then went with the CUP TYPE design for the latest Hicapas since this was a popular aftermarket "upgrade" by AirSmiths on the earlier hicapas.
So why am I going back to the OLDER and easier to dislodge O-ring design? Simple realy- have you ever found TM Cup type rubber seals at your local hardware store? I ripped my orig rubber cup-type seal during my experiments and finding a replacement was next to impossible since we don't have that many airsoft hobby shops here in Davao City!
Going back to an O-ring type design makes finding replacements fairly easy. I even replaced the original o-rings that came with the aftermarket piston head coz the were too soft and they disloged easily. I found a replacement o-ring which was the exact size but a bit "tougher". These didn't stretch as easily as the OEMs. They cost less than ten pesos but worked a lot better!
Verdict: Your call... if you don't plan to use anything other than R134a- stick to the stock design and run it till it breaks.
If and when it breaks- try to find an original replacement part first. If finding one is difficult or impossible in your area- then go for the upgrade. It's hard to find too... but after replacement- rubber o-rings will be much easier to find.
BTW- the muzzle return spring that came with the kit is a bit lame. Its too weak... I still use my BIC spring.

NINE BALL Magazine Valve for Marui Hi-Capa 5.1 -- US$23.50
www.wgcshop.com/pcart/shopper.php?itm=NB-PT-MHCV_cat_Valves
Don't mind me... I'm a compulsive upgrader... well.. gotta learn the ropes sometimes...
Don't buy this... you can modify your stock valve into a highflow unit... by simply enlarging the holes in the valve unit. See pics to get a better idea.
Why did I buy this? Simple... doesn't a red magazine valve look realy RAD!
Take note though- insertion of the mag valve to the proper depth is critical.
Too deep and your hammer might not push the valve properly releasing too little gas.
Too shallow and your o-rings will not be secure inside the mags- causing them to dislodge easily. Full Auto Hicapa anyone?
Or.. you can simply get fully adjustable high flow valves so you can adjust their height relative to the hammer.
I wish i had gotten these instead....

BTW, I now have a GUARDER metal Slide for my TM Hicapa 5.1.
It's just the plain black and unmarked version. Its not flashy at all and it hardly looks any different than the stock one(sans markings).
It's made of aluminum and it's quite light. I don't think it added any weight to my GBB at all.
Installation was fairly straightforward with only carefull(but firm) love-taps to transfer the front and rear sights from the stock slide to the metal slide.
I did need to sand the recoil spring plug(the one in front) to get it to fit inside the front of the metal slide. No biggie, it only took 10-15mins with 400grit sandpaper to get it to fit snugly.
I ran the GBB with no grease/oil between the slide and frame rails for a few mags to get the two parts to "mate" properly with regular wear and tear. Thinks were "sticky" at first but they soon were cycling smoothly. Greasing them up later smoothened the cycling even further.
I'm now able to feed my Hicapa R22 gas refils and the ICS gas without fear of cracking my slide or wearing it out too soon. FPS has now breached the 300fps barrier and more importantly(for me anyway)- recoil and sound has improved as well.
My plastic slide already started to shoot itself loose after several canisters of green gas which is why I decided to finally upgrade my slide. There were no signs of breakage on the orig plastic slide, but it did feel a lot "looser" than when it was new.
