hello johnmkt,
I also had mine replaced just a week ago...naputulan din ako...I've searched 10 stores and luckily I found one store in makati that has ONE last stock. They promised to order again...and mga two weeks pa ang leadtime. I'll also try to have some of my friends who travel to HKG to buy some...just for stocks purposes. Kung di ka pa nakakabili and I get some, I'll let you know...
Sir onejohndoe,
Yung sa akin pong tappet plate, naputol while am playing...i was forced to shoot with my P90 sideways...as in pahiga yung position nung baril when i shot...then all of a sudden....no BBs were coming out...the gearbox was doing OK...but the nozzle was not moving anymore...
Just to let you know of what my experience was.
Mabuhay po tayong mga P90 lovers!

Sirs if i were to replace my stock p90 spring with an m100 will rof decrease significantly using 8.4v batteries? If so then by how much rpm? And do I really need to upgrade to metal bushings for this setup?

Sirs if i were to replace my stock p90 spring with an m100 will rof decrease significantly using 8.4v batteries? If so then by how much rpm? And do I really need to upgrade to metal bushings for this setup? ROF will definitely decrease with any spring upgrade. By how much- I can't exactly tell. It will be noticable, but not realy a major setback with an M100. I think you can also increase your battery voltage to 9.6volts by adding another battery cell to your pack and it should get back your original ROF.
You can actually still use your plastic bushings with that setup- but why would you want to? You'll be opening your gbox anyway- might as well do the bushings now rather than risk your gears failing when the plastic bushings wear out.
If the high prices of Ver6 bushings turn you off-or if you simply can't find a set, you can use regular 6mm metal bushings for the SECTOR GEAR and BEVEL gear but retain the plastic "pill type" bushings for the SPUR gear. It won't be as tough as an ALL METAL BUSHING setup- but it will be much better than ALL-PLASTIC. I've used this setup with an SP120 spring until I found some V6 bushings and it worked fine.

hello po mga sirs..
i just recently DOWNGRADED the spring on my tm p90 from prometheus ms110sp to ms100sp, but the fps did not change.. with 0.2 bbs, the p90 was constantly hitting 350fps (for both springs?!? labo!). i wanted to bring down the fps a bit more, para pang cqb lang talaga, pero there was no change.. would you guys know why? plus, if i just use 0.25 bbs, will this decrease the fps significantly? tnx..

Hello Bien,
What is your Target FPS...350 FPS for a cqb isn't that bad...that's the max FPS you can go for other sites, unless your site specifies otherwise.
Lowering the spring should have lowered your FPS...makes me wonder too...siguro talagang maganda ang pneumatics ng baril mo.
Shifting to 0.25 will bring down your FPS by 20 t0 25 FPS, based on my experience.
Stock springs of TM would give you about 280 to 300 FPS using 0.20g bbs.

'di nga din maintindihan nung gunsmith eh.. bka maganda lang daw kc talaga ung p90..
anyway, gagamitin ko muna for a while.. then chrono ulit.. ipa-settle ko muna ung spring, baka bumaba na ung fps..

Yup, springs are relatively strong when they're brand new. Give them a few games to settle into their designed power-level.

Sir,
Just recently purchased a TM P-90 TR AEG. I am now in the process of modifying it. I plan to use a Systema Ultra torque gearset or a Prometheus Max Gearset. I've heard that there are compatibility issues between these gearsets and the version 6 gearbox. TIs this true? If so, what modifications do I have to do so that I can use these gearsets? Hope you can help me on this one. Thanks!

First of all, congrats on your new P90 sir. Welcome to the club.
Yes, these Ultra/infinite/Max torque gearsets do not drop-in easily in a version 6 gearbox. There are issues with the fit of the SPUR gear with the gearbox. I'm not realy 100% sure if you need to remove material from the gearbox only or even from the gear itself... It's difficult- but it can be done. Good luck- sorry I can't be more specific- I haven't tried it myself.

Sir Hitokiri,
I bumped into one guy in FAS (Sir Dermonic) and he has a Thompson that uses a ver 6 gearbox. He mentioned to me that he got infinite gears and thought that there was a mismatch problem...but he said that he had his "oval-shaped gears inverted and that sort of solved the issue. I am not sure if what he said is the same thing that you're referring to but if it so, it might help to get some inputs from him.

Sir Sandman, and the rest of the P90 users....
I've experienced something really weird...I've been using P90s since Feb...I've broken 3 Tappet Plates in 3 separate guns...the weird thing about this is they all broke while I was playing or test firing.
First...I got my first P90 last feb...asked my gunsmith to service it since its former user has not been using it when he sold it to me. After several weeks...the nozzle stopped moving inspite of firing the gb. It turned out that the Tappet Plate broke.
Next was yesterday when I was test firing with my 2nd P90, same thing happened all of a sudden, the nozzle didn't move.
Today...during play...my 3rd unit exhibited the same symptoms.
I really don't know what the reasons are why my guns' tappet plates are giving out? I will take pictures of my broken tappet plates later and maybe you can help me out identify the possible causes why they break.
Thanks, Bro Sarge

Bien, Musta ka na bro! As for the setup, I'll advise later...am updating them kasi nabuksan na rin lang...it appears that siguro wear and tear na rin ng tappet plate ang problem but I'll still get pictures of the broken tappet plates and let the gurus give their inputs. For one thing...the one was using M120 and one was using sp120 springs. BroSarge
