aze ... better upgrade to METAL BUSHING, X120 SPRING and change the O-RING of the piston head for better compression.
you don't need to change the stock gears yet ... Gud Luck dude !

Kanya kanyang priority. I'll check the fps first. If you're one of the few who are lucky enough to get a 250FPS M4 then play with it for a while. If your M4 is 220FPS or blow, lalo na kung less than 200FPS then 2 options.
1. Most common problem is air leak either sa piston head, cylinder head or nozzle. Except for the nozzle that is too loose there are remedies for the others. Fix these and you will get 270 FPS.
2. If 270 FPS is too low, you can put in a spacer worth only 5 cents which should increase FPS by 10-15% or change to a stronger X120 spring worth P180 retail. But consider changing bushings to metal too. Plastic bushings, kahit sa stock setup, will not last very long. If you replace bushings chances are you need to reshim. Let qualified gunsmiths do the shimming. This x120 setup should give you a 350FPS up (as reported by some buyers with such setup). But I can't say for certain kasi I am still waiting for my chrono.
The most common problem is in the cylinder/piston and nozzle or in short air compression. I have buyers who put in stock CA cyline/piston/spring/spring guide/nozzle and he was able to chrono his MP5 at 300+ FPS.
BTW, I've use STTI/SRC nozzle which appears to have a good seal kasi when I blew into the nozzle while it was on the cylinder head and it appears airtight. However, no chrono (yet) to document the result.

hello.. sir stansuarez ,hindi ko alam ko active paba ang thread nato but i will try nways my question will involve a hop up rubber i presume, pero di pako sure... here's the scenario after i upgrade my well m4 with c.a. s.t.u gear naglagay ako nang pdi190 spring, springguide, ported pistons etc... so to test its fps i tried poormans "coke" chrono, at first it can go thru the bottom of the can and side to side of it but after a few days i notice that the fps is getting lower by now it cant penetrate the bottom of the can and only one side of can can be holed up i check my gears and springs all is ok xcept for the hop up rubber that i suspect, i dont know how would you classify the bad hopup rubber and good h.u. but i think its no good ....can my suspicioun be accurate??? tnx alot more power!

Have you checked your o-ring on your piston head? It might have shrunk in size if some of the old grease is still in our R6. A faulty hop up rubber will also cause your fps to drop- as well as a dirty barrel. Have you cleaned your barrel lately? It may be full of grease already... Check your Hop up bucking and lube it with silicone oil to prolong it's life. Good luck.

hmmm.. i think it also has a same case wd my wellm4, after i mod it wd x120spring, mbushings, shims, sgyd, portd, new sanyo bt and etc. it went thru one side and almost the 2nd side of the poor mans "coke" chrono...after 2-3 games it doesnt anymore even one side at a range of 2ft..
i havent check it yet so maybe sir stan is ryt, it has somthing to do wd the old grease chewing up the o-ring mechanism much less the hop up ruber.. ty!
BTW, sir stan wen will we know if its time to change the hop ur rubber?and wt brand is beter to replace it? wil changing it to metal h.u. asembly be beter also in terms of acuracy and range..

The Metal hop up assy, or any other hop up assy for TM or CA will NOT FIT the Well R6. I usualy know when to change the hop up assy only when installing a new hop up assy does change the performance... in other words- trial and error lang po... unless of course you see obvious signs of damage(tears etc). I prefer SYSTEMA brand HOP UP packing or the GUARDER clear silicone variety. Sabi nila, maganda din daw yung prometheus RED... pero I haven't tried it yet...
