Gun ban or no gun ban.. i dont think airsofters from Davao will be that affected. Peace and Order in our beloved city is never an issue kay always peaceful man gyud ang Davao. Kahit nong una.. dula man gihapon maski naay gunban. Just be discreet guys. Meaning, don't show your guns in public and as much as possible play in gamesites na medyo tago..
This gun ban thing will only usher in more people to try airsoft kay kitang mga pinoy mahilig ta in doing things that are I should say "bawal".. sus! tuloy pa rin ang laro..
Maybe siguro if the airsoft community could petition sa office of the city mayor na we be allowed to play in accredited gamesites as long as members of accredited teams will be discreet in transporting their AEGs. If we could somehow make a letter and have it signed by all Davao airsofters.. to be passed around sa mga airsoft shops para don na rin magsign mga airsofters. We use the said petition as leverage sa politicians whom I think would run this coming election. This means votes for them. I would definitely vote for any politician who could somehow spearhead this endeavor.
I'm asking din owners of airsoft shops, sellers of airsoft equipments/gadgets to lead us in this endeavour coz kayo din makikinabang if ever this gets approved..
Just my two cents worth of view..

Agree pud ko kay Sir Coolanghel (Ka Jorge). Dapat jud siguro magkaisa na ang mga airsofters diri sa Davao. Murag Federation yata na Sir? Correct me if I'm wrong.

I think you should address the letter to the COMELEC. They have blanket and total authority on election ban. We may ask for endorsement from the mayor, though.
Nevertheless, kung dili gyud ta kapugong, then let's just be discreet.
