ASG Davao brings back military simulation to tournaments. All CQB Operators emphasizes the use of sling for weapon retention. Hence, we are adopting the following guidelines for this tournament.
1. Sling or any type of weapon retention device will be required. Players may use any of the following but NOT LIMITED TO: one point sling; two point sling sling; three point sling and vest or harness attachments. Unconventional sling or devices shall be subject to the approval of the host. Please note that we are not specifying the type or brand of sling to be used as long as it is functional and serves the purpose of weapon retention. No lanyard is required for pistols used as secondary weapon.
2. The sling must be attached to the AEG and must be worn at all times while playing in following manner:
a. around the neck;
b. around the body;
c. attached to the vest or harness; or
d. other manner that serves the purpose of weapon retention.
4. Penalties:
a. A yellow card penalty shall be given for each instance the sling is intentionally disengaged or detached except when a hit player drops this gun for live player to retrieve. The retrieving player needs to wear the sling of the dropped gun. Player will be required to re-attach accidentally detached sling.
b. Any AEG without a sling will not be allowed to be used in any game.
c. Any player who willfully and continuously violates this rule to gain advantage over the opponent shall be called out and given a yellow card.
All other usual rules for ASG tournament applies.
Good luck to all teams.
