Every GBB upgrade should start with upgraded recoil springs...
Guarder Enhanced Recoil & Hammer Spring for Marui Hi-Capa 5.1 ( 150% ) US$9.60
These cushion the blow of the recoil system when you use higher pressure gas(R22 or Propane) and protect your slide from damage.
NINE BALL Magazine Valve for Marui Hi-Capa 5.1 US$23.50
HI-flow valves allow more gas to escape per shot- therefore more power. But you may also MOD your stock valves into high flow valves if you know how.
Generaly, you upgrade your GAS to higher pressure gas for more performance, upgrades to the GBB are done so that the GBB can withstand these higher pressures without breaking. Yikes... mukhang pitaka ko naman ang bibigay dito!

snypersir, try looking for a TM hicapa manual on the net.. WE hicapa's are an exact copy of the TM.. their takedown should be somewhat similiar. With regards to your cracked metal slide, your best bet is to look for a shop that sells WE spare parts. Otherwise you'll be forced to buy a TM hicapa 5.1 metal slide which costs roughly around P4-5k..

Sir denzel,
Thanks for the tip, though I have managed to repair the problem mas simple pala ang take-down ng mga Hi-capa, parang almost the same as the real steel.
Nakita ko na rin ang mga Hi-capa replacement slides sa WGC shop, ang problema mahal nga. i got mine for only 3K. It works fine actually, yung cracked slide lang ang problema ko baka kc lumaki, masira ng tuluyan.
Got a question for those na mrami na experience with the WE Hi-capa. As they say it an exact copy of the Marui Hicapa, So is it safe to assume na lahat ng upgrade parts eh compatile with the WE? Sino na naka try?

Tanio-Koba HOP Twist Barrel for Marui Hi-Capa 5.1-- US$31.00
www.wgcshop.com/pcart/shopper.php?itm=TK-PT-HTB51_cat_Accurate%20Barrels%20for%20Pistols
I previously had an EDGI 6.01mm tight barrel in my 5.1 and I loved it. It realy improved my pistol's accuracy and costs only 500p from the man himself. However, what techie could resist the chance to try a RIFLED barrel for an airsoft GBB from one of the great forefathers of GBBs(and airsoft itself)!
FYI- the grooves in the TK barrel do not affect the BB the same way that the grooves in an real-steel barrel affects the bullets that pass through it. Whereas the real stell barrel TOUCHS the bullets and imparts an axial spin to stabilize the flight of the bullet, the function of the grooves in the TK barrel is to PREVENT the BB from touching the barrel itself! It does this by chaneling the GAS into these GROOVES to form a cushion of air around the BB. The BB basicaly FLOATS down the barrel with this 360degree cushion of air providing a "drag free" environment- Result- better accuracy and performance.
Verdict- YES. It works to a certain degree. Bottom line accuracy- even better than than my 6.01mm tight barrel. Range- better also. FPS- same.
Limitations- can't use this barrel if the BBs exceed 330fps as the higher power GBBs will give the bb right hand spiral and curve the BB to the right. My 5.1 clocks in at 260-280fps on R134a. So it's within the "safe zone".
- the barrel fouls easily. Nope, the cushion of air isn't 100% effective. I still see traces of the BB on the barrels inner surface. It's realy hard to miss as the BB residue is white and the barrel is BLACK.
Bottom line- if your and absolute techie and want to try every new device out there... then the TK is for you... lovely conversation piece. Knock your friends out. But if value for money is your thing(as it should be), then I suggest you get sir EDGI's 6.01mm barrels instead. You cant beat that 500peso value!
