I never liked M4, i was never a fan of M4. Having it is a pain in the eyes and the ass, I hate its rugged look, too many complicated parts and everything about it but to be practical you should have it, here's the reason why.
10 Reasons Why You Should Use an M4.
1. History - The history of AEG started with M16 rifles the predecessor of the M4 rifle.
2. Popularity - M4 is widely used by military and police forces around the world, which makes it more realistic if you have one.
3. Majority - 6 out of 10 AEG players uses an M4 , 4 of them use a variety of AEG’s from AK47, Mp5, Sig, Augs and etc.
4. Compatibility - Sharing of Magazines is easy where you could develop a good Team Play because most players use other variants of M4 .
5. Upgradability - upgrading is easy most of its parts and accessories are easy to find from internals to externals.
6. Maintenance - Assembling and dismantling is already a gunsmith’s muscle memory.
7. Modding - AEG producers around the world are more focused on developing and creating more M4 variants and other M4 MODS so if you want a new look to your M4 it’s easy as slapping an Add-on.
8. Versatility - M4 is good for both situations Woodland and Close Quarter Battle.
