has anyone experienced overheating their motor? yun kasing sa akin madaling uminit.. normal lang ba to for the well r5 stock motor? oh well.. di ko naman niraratrat so i guess no problem!! this is sir elros' mp5 ginawa nya is binutasan ang sides ng grip.. (btw this unit is for sale )

Hay....this is my problem with my TM MP5SD5 using 9.6v 3600 mAh.
Here's what I did (chronological):
1. relubed gears 2. fine tuned motor adjustement 3. replaced motor wiring connectors 4. resoldered all wiring connections 5. replaced small connector to large connector (gun and battery)
Everytime I get a good decrease in heat generated but after #5 I noticed a very significant decrease in temp. Overheating became a thing of the past. I still don't know why. I noticed kasi the connector gets hot din so I thought maybe the problem lies there.

wala na siguro ung fuse kaya puro ang power na pumupunta sa motor... ingat lang kasi kung kinaya ng motor, baka di kayanin ng trigger contact, lusawin ang mga plastic.

check the wirings and if u'r using the right kind of battery
