Possible sir... it's just a matter of the changing the GAS to a higher pressure type. The so called black gas and red gas are simply CO2 and PROPANE respectively. Of course, your GBB will have to be upgraded to be able to handle the higher pressures of these gasses and durability will eventualy suffer(even with the upgrades).
Among the needed upgrades are(dpending on the base GBB) *Metal Slide- for increased durability of course *stiffer springs- to reduce the recoil shock of the blow back on the frame and slide *high flow valves- to increase the amout of GAS released by the magazine per shot *Flow restrictors- to limit the gas driving the "blowback" action of the GBB *enhanzed loading nozzles- for increased durability *enhanced "piston heads"- also for increased durabilty *tight bore barrel- (extra lenght preferable- hidden in suppressor or compensator) *and finaly- Propane(red gas) or CO2(for compatible GBBs)
BTW- I already mentioned the increased wear and tear on these extreme GBBs- be prepared to pay the price tag too. Magazine rubber seals will break after around 100rounds. O-rings will be dislodged repeatedly and evently break. One mag full of gas won't be enough for the entire mag-load of BBS(10-15shots lang daw). Slides will still break eventualy- and these don't come cheap.
If you want a cheap but inexpensive 400-500fps pistol- get the KJW MK1 carbine and cut it down to size. It's a non-blow back design so you shouldn't have to worry about broken slides. [/color]

I wanted a high-fps gbb too when I was still a newbie. Then the gunsmith asked, "may kagalit ka ba?" - hehehe. It can be done as some have done so but again, as sir SANDMAN said, the wear and tear will be accelerated. After all, even after an extensive upgrade (cO2 capable included), some parts will still be ABS and rubber. Using NBBs is a safer path: hardly any part that moves; affected by high psi gas would be rubber o rings only. Still, an NBB mag may have accelerated wear and tear also, e.g., o rings can be displaced or lost. Some NBBs are now designed with 'excess gas pressure release port,' i.e., if the mag can not take the high gas pressure, the excess gas will be expelled through the mag's pressure relief valve (separate port from the intake valve). I initially noted this design in a marushin raging bull revolver and later saw it in the US M1 carbine. (Pix shows n epoxied pressure release valve though as the mag was a bit more sensitive. 'Experienced once a displaced o ring with green gas but disassembling and re-setting the o ring in the outflow valve was quite easy.) These shoot 8mm, .43g bbs. A good looking example is the marushin bren ten, shoots 375fps stock on green gas. If you're not up to cutting the butt of a KJ MK1, there's the marushin version, shoots 300 fps stock.
