sir, anong barrel ho ginamit nyo as replacement ng stock famas barrel? anong specs ng barrel ho? (brass barrel? length? inner diameter?) as for the spring, yung spring ba ng cyma shotgun o yung DE m47 na shotgun? pwede kaya ang x120 spring for this?

Just an update,
I have tried using the Steyr Aug aluminum barrel for sometime now and works just fine, It has inceased range and accuracy. The barrel length is now 16.25 inches, but I have also replaced the spring with a custom one. Now I can shoot at about 50-60 meters with a flatter trajectory. The only drawback if you use a harder spring is that it will eat the portion of the piston where it latches to the trigger mech. So now, I had to have a piston made - from metal and while at it will replace the barrel with a TM stock brass barrel. shorter but tighter than a standard aluminum barrel.
Will try to document the results.

actually, i already opened my famas.. and ur ryt, der r tons of screws!!! hehe
im planning increase the range by either stretching d spring or placing SPACERS... any suggestions mga sirs? w/c is better? stretching or using spacers? kng stretching, papano to ginagawa and to what extent? and kng spacers naman, gaano kakapal ang pwde ilagay??

Stretching will only work for a few days then it'll go back to it's original state... spacers are beter.. but a better idea would be to get a custom spring from sir snyper.. it's custom ordered and perfect for our FAMAS... my unit is with him right now undergoing "operation". Hehehe...

hehehe... oo nga noh.. if u stretch d spring, babalik parin sya sa original form nya.. spacers nlang cguro.. i tried a 5centavo coin but it wont fit.. ano ba dapat ang spacer sir? dapat ba sya made of metal? tnx! ;D

sir wabbit,
If you're still using the stock barrel of the FAMAS, I'd suggest you go buy that mossberg shotgun yung tag 120, take out the spring and use it on you FAMAS. Better yet look for someone with a broken shotgun (dami nyan around). Its better than spacer coz it rocks! But if you wanna go further, use a custom spring but it you will need to replace your piston after shooting so many shots. I'll post some pics so you'll see what I did on my FAMAS. PM me if you decide to use the spring I am using on my GUN.
