I guess your right sir slowaction. Sige let them. Benefit of the doubt given. So far, its not looking good.
Sir rambler I apologize for using a harsh tone on you... I ask in return that you not say anything against ASG. We are overly protective on our club and organization.
So enlighten us on how you guys want to run this federation of yours...

I have always given it the benefit is deserves and never did i say do not push through with it, SLOW. all i said was if i were to be asked by my club, i'd say NO to joining, i normally take out the seriousness of forums and threads like this by joking around with my replies, and because airsoft is supposed to be fun and a diversion for whatever shittyness we experience in our "real" lives, what irked me the most was when one person tries to paint others in bad light, we have never denied we made mistakes, we are not omnipotent beings incapable of making mistakes in our short lives, we never even try to sugar coat our existence, but WHY DO YOU HAVE TO RUB IT IN? WHY DO YOU HAVE TO BREAK OPEN HEALED WOUNDS? what is the motive behind this? you espouse unity, harmony, one supreme organization to govern us all, and yet you also stoop so low to discredit groups you are at odds against, it is too hypocritical, an attitude adjustment for EVERYBODY (everybody ha meaning us included) is the BEST first step towards this venture... there is too much politics going on inside an airsoft club (prove me if iam wrong), much more outside like forums, and get togethers (a.k.a tournaments) quite frankly it's ruining the hobby, it was supposed to be a diversion from all the politics we experience in the real world, but then again here it is in airsoft's living room enjoying the moment... to you rambler a quote from Chairman Mao: "If the enemy paints us in the darkest of colors, be glad for it tells us that we have captured his attention, and if the enemy pictures us in the most evil of characters then be joyful for victory is at hand" and this is exactly why i never resorted to trying to paint you in a bad way, because i wouldn't want you to gain the sympathy that i would never want you to gain, the way you portrayed us in your insinuations are most welcome for it only proves we do get under your skin so deep that you resort to such low blows, don't even try to think that i am doing this to gain sympathy, because it's not for that purpose at all, and we expect nobody will give that to us certainly after all the recent controversies, no not from the local community, from God maybe... this will be my last post on this thread, because quite frankly its running counter to the things i learn at my yoga class, it does not bring balance and peace of mind nor does it promote compassion and understanding, and besides i have better things to do than argue to something i really won't support for the mean time... fire away rambler, mudsling or in your words "discuss" to your content, and have a stressful life, see you at the battlefield only you know me and i do not know you so i won't know who i'll shoot with BB's and i do hope i'd come across an invitation to join your federation in our meeting table soon or maybe when airsoft is compared to "that's entertainment" a has been... peace, love and empathy... au revoir!

Thank you guys. The issues you raised are valid and should be given due consideration as they take this to the next level, hopefully.
To rambler, thank you for coming out with your agenda. I hope for your sake that you sincerely mean well and this is not just a propaganda campaign or a self-serving agenda or else magagalit si Tita Cory.
I wish everyone goodluck in this endeavor.
Signing off...Filbert

if somebody will only try to see all my post on other issue in 1ad forum, you will see that it is not a vendetta againt's any group
i only want every one reading this forum to understand that there is a problem, that's need addressing, wag nating itago, kung may tinamaan man, guilty, just clean your act, wag maging defensive. ;D

As I have written on my first post:
Main function:
1. Keep the peace between clubs and MEMBERS (including mediation after fights). 2. Secure the region of illegal activities using airsoft replica guns (bank roberries and the like) and to make the affiliates follow the rules and laws of the land (gun ban, public display and carrying, smuggling, gun registration, gamesite registration, club registration, PTT, IRR etc). 3. Promotion and protection of the hobby (government and business sector representation)
Thats about it. The rest of the so called problems being brought up arent real problems at all and can be handled internally by each teams. You cannot tell a team/club how to run themselves and their events, you cannot dictate how much hosts charges on their tournaments if they want to give quality games (so dont play if you feel its not worth what you paid for) unless its your own event, you cannot prohibit airsofters from preferring any type of airsoft game (milsim, practical shooting, weekend game, speedball, tournaments, etc), your complaints are no longer valid after the event... so complain before or during the event and stop whining/sourgraping after.
The only thing a federation has grips on is safety issue and the laws of the land. You can require medical assistance, you can require police presence, you can require hosts to construct gamesites that arent flimsy and prone to accidents, you can even require players to be above 18 to follow laws on child safety. You can require events to secure permits, you can require players to have gun registration and PTTs, you can even prohibit the use of illegal drugs or alcohol (public drunkenness act).
Number 1 includes warmongerers, sourgrapers, mudslingers, conspirasists, etc. who do more harm than good, opening up closed wounds and starting fights all over again. Or... creating trouble where there is non to be found. Small misunderstanding become huge fights becuase of these kinds of people. Misunderstanding, difference of opinions and fights will always be an integral part of life. The important thing is how they are handled. Are they handled in a gentlemanly fashion face to face or are the people hiding behind pseudo names throwing mud here and there fanning the flames bigger instead of diffusing it.
Unless this federation is being runned by representatives of ALL teams and clubs (preferrably the presidents of each club in each term) and not just a few people, friends and allies... support will be questionable. Unless votes are unanimous from ALL clubs and teams and not just a few people friends and allies... whatever this federation passes as rules are questionable.
End statement... signing off...

Promotion and protection of the hobby (government and business sector representation) function no. 1 and 3 is already being address by the current 1AD, function no.2 should be left alone to the clubs to enforce. what we need is the federation control of tournaments, in which most , if not all of the problem in the airsoft community originated. my suggestion is: 1. tournaments should only be held under approval and direct control of the federation. 2. organize more fellowship/big games and tournaments should be held only twice a year , in order to tone down other airsofters over competitiveness and go back to the original purpose of airsoft, to have fun, meet new friends and to foster camaraderie. 3. create a marshal academy, to train would be game marshals to the proper way of marshaling. 4. create a some sort of an airsoft tribunal that will mediate to any conflict and can give sanctions to any rules violations. to set the record straight, i am not asking for the creation o f a new federation but instead, a strengthend 1AD.
